Jeremy's explanation of how he came here

On Wednesday, my mom, my sister, Jeremy and I were on our way down to the LA temple to attend Breann's wedding. Jessica told me you sure made a cute baby. I agreed with her and and jeremy started talking about how he came here.

Jeremy: "My mommy bought me for 3 moneys."
Jessica: "Oh really" That's really cheap, can I get something as cute as you for that much?"
Jeremy: "Yeah, I was in a box and my mommy chose me."
Jessica: "Oh because you were cute?" (or something like that)
Jeremy: "Yeah, all the people didn't chose me and my mommy did."
Me: " Jeremy, I think you were in my tummy like Baby Zeke."
Jeremy: "No, I was in a box and baby Weke is in a box too cuz you chose me."

I just thought that this was so cute how he thinks he was in a box and I chose him and the other people didn't. He certainly says the cutest things. This conversation isn't word for word, becasue I can't remember exactly what he said. But it went something like that.

The funny sayings of Jeremy

As you can see, Jeremy has turned into quite the funny boy. He says the funniest things, and I wanted to write them down so i wouldn't forget them.
About baby zeke:
*Mommy, baby weke is soo tute. (baby zeke is so cute)
*Mommy, i yuve baby weke sooo mutch
*Baby weke is moving lots
*wake up baby weke......as he is shaking my belly
*mommy your belly is getting so big
*mommy is baby weke big enough rolercoasters? (i say no, he is going to be tiny, he says oh, but im big enough rollercoasters, yes you are)
*baby weke is soo happy
*can i cuddle baby weke? (he likes to lay by my with his head on my belly as he has his hand on my belly and rubs it. He LOVES kissing my belly.
*I tell him that he is such a sweet boy and if he will teach baby Zeke to be sweet, he says "yes mommy, and i teach him how to play basketball, and to play in my playroom"
*In the car, I wont be mad at baby weke, i will be happy at him
I am sure there are more, but right now, i cant think of others.

funny random things
*mommy, austin is a boy, and emma is a girl. They are my friends, my friends are so tute, huh mommy?
*If you ask him if you are a boy or a girl he says no, you are.........whateverr you may be. for example, jeremy is mommy a girl? no, you are a mommy. To my sister, no you are a seeka, to daddy no you are a daddy...im sure you get the picture.
driving to the store, "turn your flashlights on people, oh i am so mad at them!" He wanted their christmas lights on.
*ohh my butt!!!
*about scrooge on the christmas carol, "he is sad mommy, i need to cuddle him so he is happy"
*mommy we can't go to mountain mountain, cuz its closed right now, right mommy?
*daddy get out of my room, im naked...(i was getting him dressed)

*we have to buy a new car cuz this one is broken......(our car is not broken......don't know where he gets these things)
*as he is cuddling in bed, "daddy, i yuv my nipples"

Sometimes I think he just says things to make us laugh........he does a great job at it!

That is all i can think of right now, but he does think of the funniest things, and I need to wirte them down as soon as he says them so i dont forget....until next time!

So we are having another boy!

We are pleased to announce that we are having another little boy. We are so excited for it! Jeremy is excited about having a little brother and being a bug brother. As of right now, we are naming him Ezekiel James. He will be called Zeke. Or in the word of jeremy, baby week. It took us some time to come up with a name that we both agreed on, but Ezekiel seemed to be right. This pregnancy has been so different for me. Sick in the earlier months, and showing my baby bump way early and now, being 18 weeks along, im already starting to feel the braxton hicks contractions. they arent all the time, but annoying!! I read online, that with your second pregnancy you can feel them a lot sooner. The website suggested that i drink more water.....so im trying to do so. We look forward to meeting this little baby. Im wishing time would go a little bit faster. February needs to be here! However, I am so excited that the Holiday season is approaching, which will make time go faster. There is so much I need to do to get ready for this baby. I have to take down wallpaper in the room he will be living........its pink with a flower border and i have taken down one wall. I just hate doing it! Anyone want to come and do it for me? Then i need to paint, and set up the crib then go through all of jeremys clothing. I guess its a good thing that i have lots of time.
So on other news, i did say i would blog about this summer, but i just dont feel like it. We had a blast and my computer screen has a big crack in it so i cant really see what im writing. So once i order the screen and get it fixed, maybe I will blog and post pictures of this summer. BSo untill next time........

Jeremy Says the cutest things! And BIG NEWS

I know I have tons to blog about!!! There is Jeremy's 3rd birthday, my trip up to Idaho for Jessica's College Graduation, and our yearly family trip up to Laughlin. I just need to upload all the pictures. So next posts.....
I love playing the "I love you game" with Jeremy. It started when he started talking back and repeating everything. I would start by saying I love you, then he would say I love you. I would say I love you more, he would say I love you more. It is a fun game to play with your 3 year old. Last week he started telling me, " i love you mostest mommy" I wold say "i love you too sweetheart". He would say "I love you mostest mommy". He was trying to play the game with me. Last week we were waiting for Mike to get in the car and Jeremy said it again. "I love you the mostest mommy." I told it to him back. Then out of the blue, Jeremy said, "I'm so glad I found you mommy!" Isn't that the sweetest thing ever? I have never said that to him. That was his own thought process. It brought tears to my eyes. Now our I love you game is "I love you to the tree", he wold say I love you way high mommy. When we were in Laughlin, he would tell me, "I love you on that sign mommy" It can go on forever. Its a fun game for sure! He is just the most sweetest 3 year old I know.
Now our big news!!!!! We are expecting our second baby! I am about 10 weeks along and we are so happy. The due date is Feb 27 2012. So far everything is going well. My next appointment is on the 12th of august. Jeremy loves talking to the baby. He says we are going to have a baby sister like penny (his friend).

The forth of july!

We had a fun fourth of July. We started the day by getting doughnuts and going to our local parade. Jeremy chose his "black dough-ut" We ate our doughnuts and waited for the parade to start.
One of the first "floats" to drive by, passed out a flag to everyone on the sidelines. Jeremy loved waving it as each group passed by.
Jeremy loved the "fire crucks"
We liked all the old cars!
I liked this one!
Santa even came!
One of our favorite places to eat came!!
What a funny face!
There were tons of old cars.

Jeremy on daddy's shoulders waving his flag as the floats drove by. The parade was fun. I think we started a new tradition....maybe.....
The rest of the fourth was non eventful. We played super mario brothers, and took naps. Once the evening came, we went to my parents and ate hamburgers and hotdogs. Once it got dark we had our own "fireworking" show. Jeremy was a little nervous about them at first but by the end he was brave and loved holding his own "parkors" (sparklers). The people in our neighboring community had the fire works that shot up in the air. Who needs to drive somewhere when you have neighbors who will break the law. hehe We had a fun time!

More Summer Fun!

This would be Jeremy's choice of clothing. All he like to do is run around in his undies. Its Summer and it is HOT! Don't worry we dress him before we go anywhere (unless we walk across the street to grandma's house). Having him wear only his undies, is great because he likes going pee all by himself, and having a shirt and shorts just get in the way.
Jeremy is such a goof. I was getting him ready for the day and his pj top got stuck on his large head. He started laughing and I had to take a picture. He looked so funny. He is such a goof.

This would be our favorite summer treat. We LOVE Menchi's frozen yogurt. You get to serve yourself. The flavor of yogurt and all the toppings you want. Jeremy chose pink yogurt with animal cookies, m&m's, and sprinkles. We love love love frozen yogurt!

Aquatic Center

Last week we went to the Aquatic Center with our good friends Amber, Laila, Rachel and Kaylee. We had a blast. Jeremy loved going down the little slide all by himself. At first he was a little weary about the water, but once he found that he could walk all by himself without going under the water, he started to get comfortable. A little too comfortable. We had fun playing in the water and making water shoot out of different places. After playing for a while, we decided to get some ice cream to share. It was yummy.
I still have more to blog about, I just need to put my pictures into my computer!

Kick off to a GREAT Summer!

We kicked off the summer this monday. W watched Jeremy's friend Penny and we went to the park and had fun on the swings and slides and playing in the sand. We walked home and ate some lunch. After lunch we decided to play in the water. I filled up buckets of water and had the kiddos "paint" the garage and driveway. My friend Amy and her daughter, Cali also came to join us. Amy helped me wash all of the outside toys. The kiddos loved running under the hose. Thanks warm weather for coming so we can enjoy the outside water fun!
We eat lots of apples in this house. Jeremy loves them! He was being very silly and how he was eating them.
Today, I took Jeremy to Scooter's Jungle. He had a blast. He loved going down this big slide!
Jeremy loved going down the zip-line. He held on very well! He is so strong!
Here is an up-close oh Jeremy going down the slide. Doesn't he look like hes having fun?
Jeremy wanted to play air hockey. He was actually pretty good. He would try and stop the puck when it came near him. He would then hit the puck over to my side. If the puck looked like it would go into my goal, I would miss hitting the puck so it would go in my goal. He loved getting the goal. He saw that he was getting goals and I wasn't. So, he would move his hitter and let me get some. I told him that he was suppose to block the puck and he told me mommy gets goals too! HE had tomake sure it was fair. He is the sweetest.
After Scooter's Jungle, we met our church group at Central Park. Jeremy loves playing with Austin. The would go down the slide and go up the stairs, they stayed very busy.

Needless to say, he had a very busy day. He zonked out when he cuddled with daddy while watching toy story. I love these boys!

I love Our Mornings!

I Love my mornings with Jeremy! Every morning, Jeremy waked up usually between 7:30-8:00 and comes into my bed and cuddles while we watch a movie. This happens all the time. After cuddling for a few minutes he asks for some cereal. So I go down stairs and get him some dry cereal and chocolate milk and then he eats and drinks while we watch the movie. Some mornings, i go back to sleep while he watches. Once the movie is over, usually around 10, we go downstairs and we eat breakfast and get ready for the rest of the day.
I love my 2 year old. he is so much fun. He has his tantrums, but they aren't that often. He is usually very sweet. He makes it easy to be his mother. Once we are ready for the day, we play or run errands, or go on walks, We have a very open days.
I just love my baby boy Jeremy! We have lots of fun together!

The Month of April

The first weekend in April, Mike, Jeremy, and I drove up to Utah for my Nauvoo Class reunion. We drove up on Friday night when Mike got home from work. Our goal was to pull an all night drive, but as Mesquite got closer, we decided to stop and sleep for the rest of the night. We stayed at the Virgin River......worst experience ever! The whole hotel smelled of smoke, the beds were tiny and hard as a rock and not to mention our neighbors. Lets just say it was like we were in a movie. Where a family comes to rest and the couple next door are "having fun" if you know what I mean. Not fun at all. However, the rest was necessary and well needed. We woke up early so we could get into Springville Utah for lunch. We stayed with Mike's sister, Jami and her family. I love her family. She has three little girls who are just so much fun. After we showered and got ready, we drove up to Salt Lake to walk around Temple square. We met up with my awesome sister and a couple of her friends to just visit. After we walked around, Mike and I went up to Bountiful to my reunion. Only FIVE of my nauvoo friends showed up. It was a lot of fun to catch up with them and remember old times.

Then on Sunday morning, we woke up to SNOW!!! It was fun. JEremy did not like the snow at all. He didnt like being cold ( I don't blame him). He spent most of the time in the garage with a scowl on his face. He is DEFINETLY a So Cal kid. After we played in the snow, we went over to my Best friend Allysa's house for breakfast and conference. We enjoyed waffles and bacon with her cute little family and parents. Once the session was over, Jeremy and I said goodbye to Mike as he left to go back to California so he could get to work on Monday. Then Jeremy and I drove up to Idaho with my sister so we could drive home with her on thursday. We had a FUN week. As Jessica took finals and went to class, Jeremy and I hung out with my roomie from Nauvoo Miriam and her cute sons. We also hung out with my other roomie KAtie and her cute kids. Idaho has to be one of the coldest palces EVER!! We had a good time. Jessica and I left on Wednesday night and drove to Saint George and stayed the Days Inn. It was a much better expierence. A big king bed with fluffy pillows, way comfortable. We woke up early on Thursday and drove the rest of the way home. Jessica and I had tons of fun. Jeremy was the BEST little boy I could have ever asked for. HE just sat in the back of the car and watched MEGamind over and over and over........
On April 13th we went to Disneyland and I FORGOT my camera. IT was a wonderful day spent with my parents, Jessica, and Jordan. Jeremy had so much fun this year. He was able to go on more of the rides and enjoyed every minute of it. We asked him if he wanted to wait to see Mickey or go on another ride, and he said another ride. We were able to go on EVERYTHING we wanted to. We stayed for the fireworks becasue JEremy wanted to see them, within 5 minutes of the show, Jeremy was out. It turned out to be a very fun day and look forward to continue this traditoon of going once a year.

Easter was tons of fun this year. We all got new Easter clothes....don't we look great? I think so.

Jeremy had so much fun hunting for "eggies." He was able to find them all with little to no help at all. The month of April had to be the best month so far.

The Month of February and March

On February 24, Mike and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. I cant believe it has been that long. It seems so short but also so long. I love him so much. He IS the man of my dreams and my prince charming. He is a wonderful husband and an awesome daddy.
Sometime in february, we went to a horse ranch that boards Amber's mom's horse. We went with Amber and Laila and Rachel and Kaylee. This s a picture of Jeremy being sweet with Laila Kaylee. I just love this picture and how the girls are touching are so interested in Jeremy.
Here is a picture of us feeding Amber's mom's horse. Jeremy enjoyed feeding all of the horses.
Presidents Day weekend Jessica came home and we went to the Santa Monica Pier. I just love that we can go to the beach basically all year. It is one of my favorite places. The smell, the breeze, the sound, just everything about it!

We also went bowling! Jeremy couldn't bowl because our alley has the rule where the kids have to be 4 years old. We had fun anyway. We did absolutely NOTHING in March. No real excitement happened.......However April was exciting.....so until the next post.

The Month of January

January was a fun month. We went to the "monster jam" truck show. Jeremy LOVED it. We had so much fun. IT was at the Anaheim Angels Stadium. I didn't do such a good job at taking this picture.
This is a picture of the "gave gigger" (grave digger) on his freestyle run. Oh my gosh this was so fun. The jumps the doughnuts, the noise, and how crazy these trucks go. Again, Jeremy loved seeing all the monster trucks.
Here is Jeremy so happy with all the "monster cucks" He had so much fun. He didn't even care about the loud noise. We would try to cover his ears, but he didn't want us too.

Not to mention it SNOWED, here in Santa Clarita. It was fun to see it fall. It didn't snow all that much, but for us born and raised southern Californians.......the 1/2 inch of snow was fun. Also, we started to potty train Jeremy. He was quite easy to train. He loves peeing standing up. We did have an issue with pooping, but now he is a big boy with a rare accident. Jeremy you are such a big boy and mommy and daddy are so proud of you.

The Month of December

We had a very good Christmas. Jeremy had so much fun with the decorations and all of the "flashlights" on all of the houses. He kind of understood santa and bringing presents. The month os December was a good one, because Mike got a teaching job. For those who didn't know, he was out of a job since august. But on December 13, Mike started working for Northridge hospital as a PE teacher. The hospital is funding a grant that provides PE programs to elementary schools.
My dad, "papa dude" got Jeremy his own motorcycle. He loves it soo much. Thanks Papa Dude
Santa brought Jeremy a tool bench that he loves. Santa also brought him is own "e-tar" (guitar). Thats the one thing he asked for. He got so much for Christmas this year. It turned out to be a good Christmas!
We also did a ginger bread house.......Jeremy loved eating the candy.

And here is a picture with Santa at our ward christmas party. He did not want to sit on his lap, so we all stood behind him. All in all, it was a good month.

The Month of November

In the month of November, we jumped in leaves lots, because our lovely tree in front dumps leaves by the hundreds. After raking up leaves a few times, we decided to wait until they were all of the tree. Jeremy LOVED jumping in the leaves and helping us rake. He would run and fall into the piles. Sure it took a little longer to do the job, but we had fun.
More leaf jumping.........
Since, my house has the big playroom, and can fit lots of people, we had Thanksgiving at our house. This is a picture of the table setting. One thing i regret, is not taking a picture of the group of people we had. We were all able to fit in the same room. The list of our company includes the following: Mikes parents, Mikes brothers family, Mikes sisters family, Mikes Aunt and Uncle, Mikes Grandparents, My Parents, my sister, my brother, My grandma and my Aunt Luana. We had Had a total of 19 adults and 6 kids. We had lots of fun sharing in thanksgiving.

And once again, more leaf jumping
