The Month of November

In the month of November, we jumped in leaves lots, because our lovely tree in front dumps leaves by the hundreds. After raking up leaves a few times, we decided to wait until they were all of the tree. Jeremy LOVED jumping in the leaves and helping us rake. He would run and fall into the piles. Sure it took a little longer to do the job, but we had fun.
More leaf jumping.........
Since, my house has the big playroom, and can fit lots of people, we had Thanksgiving at our house. This is a picture of the table setting. One thing i regret, is not taking a picture of the group of people we had. We were all able to fit in the same room. The list of our company includes the following: Mikes parents, Mikes brothers family, Mikes sisters family, Mikes Aunt and Uncle, Mikes Grandparents, My Parents, my sister, my brother, My grandma and my Aunt Luana. We had Had a total of 19 adults and 6 kids. We had lots of fun sharing in thanksgiving.

And once again, more leaf jumping

The month of October

Jeremy's latest favorite thing to do: put on daddy's football "hemet" He loves football! He talks about football games all day everyday. We ask him if he wants to play when he is older and he says "yes" He one day, will be a football star.
For Halloween, we went to a Halloween party at Jeremy's Nana's school dressed as a cowboy. He had lots of fun watching "monster house" and playing with nana, papa and Mrs. Hircsh.
During October, we went to Lambardi's Ranch a few times. We rode the train ride, pet the animals in the petting zoo, went through the corn maze, picked out a "Peacan" (pumpkin) and palyed on al the big pumpkins the had there. Jeremy had soo much fun!

This was Jeremy's official costume. He was a "pi-at" He was the cutest pirate if I have ever seen one! We even put fake tattoos on his arm. One said mom and the other was a skull and cross bone. Jeremy had lots of fun at our ward Halloween party playing games and "tuck or teet" (trunk or treating" We also went trick or treating with his friend Penny and Joshua and had lots of fun getting all his "nandy" Until next time.........

More of Jeremy's vocab

Last week when I posted I forgot to post a lot of his cute words. I couldn't think of them at that time....so here it goes!

mon mong-Grandma (my mom)
seeka-Jessica (my sister)
du-id-dude (my dad)He goes by Grandpa Dude
buser-buster (my moms dog)
nordan/jodan-Jordan (my adoptive little brother)
fooball-football
hold ju-hold you. he says this when he wants to be held
yaya-Liala (my friends Amber's daughter)
Caye-cali (my friend Amy's daughter)
mink-pink
geen-green
boo-blue
yayo-yellow
back-black
gay-gray
oange-orange

Jeremy is talking so much now. As you can see, he has a very hard time with the letter "L" Almost all of his "L's" are "y's." He loves saying his prayers at night (most nights) He loves to copy the last word of each sentence. He loves to copy what we are saying....time to be careful! He is just growing up into an amazing little boy. We spend our days reading, which is now one of his favorite things to do. His favorite books are "Goodnight Moon" "Piggies" "King Bidgood in the bathtub" "Mom Says I Can" "Just Like Daddy" and "Pingo" He would love it if we read all of these books over and over all day.
We just got him a Black and Decker Tool set for being a good sleeper. We have had some problems with him going to bed....so what did we do? We bribed him with a sticker chart and a new toy. He now goes to bed with no problem. All we have to do his put him in his toddler bed, and give him a kiss and come back once more for another kiss! So we play with his tools all day to! Some of his other favorite activities are playing with the kitchen, blocks, cars, little people, and running with his football. He runs with his football and falls down (as if he were tackled) He will do this for an hour straight! Its quite humorous to watch!
All I can say is that he is turning into quite the little boy and not so much toddler! He is growing up WAY too fast!

A much needed update!

Since I have been slacking on posting, I thought that I would post one to two pictures per activity that we have done over the summer. We spent countless hours in the pool. Sometime we would not put a diaper on Jeremy, so his swim trunks would fall down. I think that his little butt is the cutest! Mike bought a pool side basketball hoop; so we would have b-ball games all the time, sometimes even till midnight. The pool has been so much fun this summer!
This fourth of July, we had Mikes two sisters and their families over for a BBQ, swimming, fireworks and a walk to the park. Here is a picture of his cute girl cousins at the park.
For the first time this summer, we took Jeremy to Griffith Park to ride the ponies. He was so excited to get on the "horsie." After the ride was over, he felt a little scared and didn't want t go on again. I think he had fun, in the picture he looks a little worried........
Jeremy and I went to the beach many times this summer. Jeremy LOVES the beach. He plays in the sand and loves when we take him down to the water to put his feet in. I thought that this picture was cute because he looks like a little man "sunbathing" and eating his cracker.
This is a picture of Jeremy at the San Diego Zoo. He didn't want to be in his stroller and would not stay near us, so I had to buy a backpack leash for him. At first he didn't like it, but warmed up to it. He is quite the little climber and monkey himself..........
Jeremy turned two years old on July 22! I cant believe he has gotten so big. For his birthday we had family come over for swimming, pizza, salad, and Red-velvet cake (i made it from scratch...it turned out to be very yummy. the frosting was white-chocolate cream cheese.....yummy!) We had a "Yo Gabba Gabba" themed party. Gifts included, a big push car, yo gabba gabba toys, a golf/baseball set, a basketball bath toy, books, and some new clothes. He had so much fun; he especially loved when we sang to him!
After Jeremy's birthday, we drove to Laughlin, nevada. We go every year with my family. Jeremy had so much fun going on the "yides" (sea doos) We basically stayed in the water for the whole week while we were there! There was only one injury.....Jeremy touched a display light in one of the hotels gift shop and burned his tiny little thumb.....he was very sad. We love laughlin.
After Laughlin, we went to Sequoia National Park and camped for 2 nights and 3 days. We had tons of fun hiking and spending time with family.
Jeremy loved playing in the dirt at our campsite.....had to take a picture!
This picture got out of order. In May Jeremy and I went to Arizona for Jeremy's cousin, Cameron's baptism. We drove up with Mikes parents. It was a very quick trip but had lots of fun.
This is Jeremy's new face. We call it his male-model face. We tell him to do zoolander and he performs 90% of the time!
Jeremy and I drove down to San Diego twice and went to Sea World with his cousins Kelsey and Chloe. He loves his cousins very much. He enjoyed all of the shows and didnt complain at all!
Jeremy loves playing with the hose, so I have him water our lawn......hehe
Just this past weekend, we had the opportunity to drive up to Utah for a very special event. Mike's dad, Larry got inducted into the BYU hall of fame for football. There was a special ceremony and dinner which was very nice. Al of the inductees got to go on the field at half time at the BYU game, we had amazing seats......section 1 row 1!!
Since our seats were basically on the field, we got to talk to Cosmo!! Cosmo was at the end of our row, so I told Jeremy to yell at Cosmo to come and he did!
Overall we have had such an awesome fun filled summer. Jeremy's vocab is grwoing ever day! Here is a list of his new words.
yaown-lay down
s*it-sit
I yuv you-i love you
poot-toot or fart or whatever you want to call bodily functions
he yells "hey hey" to the animals when they are not doing what he wants them to
he says "sorry" when he wants us to move
juicey-juice
mulkie-milk
He has started to combine words to everything. From "I want..." "pease move mommy" car mommy, I really wanted to post his cute words. So until next time........
